Katak Bawah Gelas

Katak bawah gelas (frog under the glass) depicted from an old malay saying "Katak bawah tempurung" with a little twist to its meaning. This frog however see the environmental changes but would not make any moves to change from his glass.

This is a reminisce of the old tv slot in Malaysia where tales of Croc and Mouse-deer (Sang Kancil dan Buaya) being aired to seed morale messages into children in the eighties. As a tribute FNM, i made this illustration.

It's been a long time since i've made any random. Just wanted to express some feelings and thoughts that i've concluded into an artwork called Amanah.

Economy was not going steady at this time, client were only giving small media for us to consider. In order to win the client's trust, the brief was to make series of ad to re-energize the looks and feel of region food sauce into an international brand. Since its an "anything" would be kind of work, each of us had been given the chance to explore our own idea.

Kenikmatan Sebenar (The real taste)
The idea was to make viewer seeing the ad in continuity. We wanted to show the diversity of each taste injected within every media to achieve the ever lasting taste of the sauce.

Made this poster on my free time as a tribute to the greatest American activist rapper, Zack de La Rocha. He made all of his song to free his people, with mind and hearts from idea,to paper up until his rhythm. He is (to me) the spirit descendant of all revolutionary freedom fighter. Forever lives de la Rocha.

Got really bore in the office one day. Arrange some cups and pinned it to the wall and shoot.

Saw sifoo ryo soing some sexy ad, just wanted to try something out.

The other day my ex-colleagues DJ Reza told me he's about to buy a blackberry, just thought something out. Screen are getting bigger but the keys are getting smaller...huh

Got to do some research way up in the north of peninsula, Shot some random things along the way. Had fun going places leaving the office in a hectic.hehehe
